Sailing Instruction

The Dartmouth Yacht club will be offering Sail Canada certified CANsail 1 to 6 programs for students ranging from 8 to 16 years of age. We will also be offering a Wet feet program for students ranging in age from 5-7.  The Wet Feet program will take place during the last week of July and the first week of August.  Children are required to have completed one year of school in order to attend. Our programs are taught by experienced and knowledgeable staff, who strive to show their students the best way to continue safely, and confidently through their sailing careers. These skills will be taught on our club 420 fleet and our optimist fleet. Additional training will also be offered for sailors that hold their CANsail 3 or higher, in the month of June and September, so that our team will be able to be even more competitive within their fleet.
